Helen C. Escott, the bestselling, award-winning author behind Operation Wormwood, The Reckoning, Operation Vanished, and, In Search of Adventure: 70 Years of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Newfoundland and Labrador will release her memoir, I Am Funny Like That, from Engen Books' new non-fiction imprint during first-quarter 2021.
Originally self-published in 2016, the book has been revamped with Escott's style and humour. Based on the life and experiences chronicled in her blog of over 200,000 readers, I Am Funny Like That promises to bring a smile to the lips of anyone who reads it.
I Am Funny Like That will be the first book in Engen Books' new non-fiction line, with a number of titles yet to be announced for 2021 and beyond, as well as absorbing existing non-fiction titles like Vacant Chairs (Linda Blagdon), Song of the Mockingjay (Erin Vance), and Questing the Dark Tower (Matthew LeDrew).
